The Drift and Speed Challenge physics were inconsistent from time to time, but with a few tweaks I feel those issues could be resolved. They still hold up pretty well although it wasn't perfect. The physics of Prostreet were decent for a more sim-cade style racing game. There was also something so satisfying about totaling your car and seeing the engine and undercarriage of the car as you tumble through the air in slow motion. They were extremely detailed especially for a game that released in 2007 showing dents and scratches as well as showing the car deform and lose body panels the more dangerously and stupidly you drive. The Damage model for NFS Prostreet is one of the best damage models I've seen in an arcade racer that uses licensed vehicles. Imagine NFS 2015 graphics applied to NFS Prostreet and make the game even more immersive. The people standing around talking and looking the cars made the game feel immersive. An innovative physics engine and an intuitively. Filled with incredible courses, rides and racing styles, this test of speed and skill will make even experienced racers sweat with intensity. Also, the whole raceday/carshow theme just worked. Dominate the road on a global stage as Need for Speed: ProStreet rips past the local neighborhood level to the highest level of street racing. There was great car customization which and the cars were different in terms of strength and weaknesses. To me, Prostreet has one of the best atmospheres alongside Need For Speed (2015) for any racing game. It's also a bonus that they only have to worry about one time of day instead of a whole day-night cycle. They would only have to retexture the cars, people, and the different raceday locations. This game lacks an open world so developers don't have to worry about retexturing a whole active world with traffic, or police. This is a big reason why it would be a good remaster. Instead, I think they should remaster Need For Speed Prostreet if they remaster any NFS and here's why.

Plus there isn't really much to the game and I don't think it needs a remaster. The game still holds it's own today despite being nearly 10 years old.
